Xterra
Xterra offers triathlon of a different kind, racing in rough water, mountain biking on beautiful (and sometimes technical) trails, and running off-road. Brutal, but fun! So, if you are looking for an added challenge to add to your 2011 schedule, go for it! They also have trail runs, well-organized runs in amazing venues.

Anyone can do our races. Moms, dads, CEOs, teachers, surfers, mountain bikers ... just about anyone with a passion for great sports in the outdoors.
US Racing and National Championship
The races are open to everyone, however, the USA Championship in Ogden, Utah and World Championship on Maui are open only to qualified competitors. (Age group athletes who are not US citizens can participate in US races, but are not eligible for Points or Points Series titles.)
Xterra Trail Runs remind you it's more fun to run off-road. Hop across rocks, soar across streams, zig-zag your way along a mountain trail. Be a kid again and rediscover your super-charged sense of adventure and wonder. XTERRA hosts Trail Run races in major cities across the country. Proceeds from each benefit local charities.
