Roots N' Blues
Ultramax and the Roots N' Blues N' BBQ Festival have partnered to offer a $5,000 cash prize purse in the 10K division of the 2010 Roots N' Blues event. The prize money will be equally distributed to men and women. We also added prize money options for Masters athletes over 40. This is the largest cash prize purse offered in Columbia, MO.
In only the second year, the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival half marathon has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the Midwest. A cash prize purse in the 10K Run will set the bar very high and is sure to attract some of the nations best 10K runners. In 2009, 1,200 registrants participated coming from eight different states. This year, Ultramax is expecting over 2,500 this year, and will cap the event at 3,000.

Swimmin in Moonshine
The 2nd Annual Swimmin In Moonshine Open Water Swim race will be held on August 28, 2010 at the incredibly popular Moonshine Beach in Branson, MO. This race is part of the Ultramax Championship Series and will feature three swim distances. You will race from the same beach as Ironman 70.3 Branson. Need a little warm up before Ironman 70.3 Branson? Here is your chance! Maybe you're just looking to do your first open water swim race.
