Cycling Technique Clinic (The Pose Method)

Sunday FEBRUARY 20, 2011 2:30pm - 4:00pm at Maplewood Bicycle

This is a great time of year to work on your pedaling skills to improve your cycling. You can get faster by being more efficient in addition to being more fit! Some of you may know some of the common cycling drills, such as isolated leg drills. The Pose Cycling drills are unique and different! Unless you've read Dr. Romanov's Pose Triathlon Techniques book (May 2008), I doubt you've tried cycling drills like these... they really help make you a stronger cyclist.

Bring your own bike and your trainer. If you do not own a trainer we have a few extras available first come first served (please reserve when you sign up).
The 1st 45 minutes of the session will introduce you to the concepts of Pose cycling and teach you the drills to practice. Then we will do a 45 minute workout. The clinic fee is $25 (only $15 for Maplewood multisport members).

The clinic is being taught by Jennifer Meyer, Level II Pose Certified Coach, USAT Level II Certified Coach and President of TriSmart Training Systems - www.TriSmartUSA.com

We need at least 5 participants to hold the clinic with a maximum of 15. Please sign up by Saturday February 19th at close of business at Maplewood or via email to Jennifer at Jennifer@TriSmartUSA.com.

In addition to your bike and trainer, please dress to ride your bike indoors, bring your own beverages/snacks and a towel is very helpful.

Please arrive at 2:15pm so you can get your gear inside and setup and we can start at 2:30pm.
