Welcome to the Big River Training Team!! Running a marathon or a half marathon has become one of the most popular fitness activities in the country and it goes beyond just finishing the race. Being a marathon/half marathon finisher means you have put in the hard work and exercised the discipline it takes to achieve such a goal. The training is 95% of the journey and the race is just icing on the cake. This group is designed to help you on your personal journey by providing you with coaches and teammates that share similar goals and can make the tough grind of training into a fun and social experience. The journey of completing a marathon / half marathon can literally change your life!

After three very successful years of the Big River Training Team we are going to change things up a bit for 2011 and make it BIGGER and BETTER in 2011!!
NEW in 2011:
There is now a FREE option! All Super Sunday Long Runs and Wild Wednesdays are FREE and open to anyone and everyone. Like our wildly popular Summer Speed Work Sessions we want to get tons of you guys out there training with us this season. These runs/workouts will be perfect for anyone who wants to run with a group but isn't necessarily interested in the individualized training schedules we offer for a fee.
Wild Wednesdays!! We are adding a group workout every Wednesday from January 12th through April 6th that will be supervised and are guaranteed to make you stronger and faster as you prepare for GO! St. Louis or your spring race of choice. Check out the schedule HERE.
